  1. INTRODUCTION

  • Our travels – the hard work that has paid off and taken the troupe around the world.

  • What it takes to put on an Artrageous show

  • Introduction to the Artrageous team – the students will get introduced to each member of the Artrageous team and the many hats each professional performer wears.

  • A Celebration with Arts – an emphasis put on the importance on Arts and the brain.

  • Interactive Activities – the entire audience will be involved in creating together in music, dance and brain boosting activities.

The way Artrageous formed is quite different to most conventional businesses. A unique story of how a bunch of misfit street performers with common goals and interests banded together to see the world and bring their love of performing and service to audiences from all over. The group of friends are no strangers to hard work, running into many snags all the way (running out of money in NM, theater building and all the equipment burning to the ground one Christmas day…) But have used their common service oriented goal and perseverance to go on to be the most successful entertainment troupes since the 1990’s. The owners of Artrageous are a theater arts collective living in community in the high desert of NM.  The Artrageous Team will expand on the stories behind the growth and success of Artrageous. Instilling in the students that any dream is attainable, if you want it you can achieve it.

2. SHORT SHOW

  • Outreach program must take place at the stage or have adequate PA to put on a performance. It is an important part of the Outreach to be able to get the participants involved.

In order for the students to get the sense of community that Artrageous creates in each of their shows, Artrageous will put on a brief show. The show will highlight many different art forms all one stage. Music, singing, dancing, live painting.

3. QUESTION AND ANSWERS

  • It’s not every day that students have the opportunity to chat with professional entertainers. Students are encouraged to ask any question about the business, about travel, about working together as a team.
